Don and Sharon were living on opposite coasts of Florida when they met a couple of years ago.  But a fateful trip to visit his son on the east coast led to a blind date and they hit if off.  It wasn't long before she moved to Englewood so they could build their lives together.

It was a second marriage for both of them and they wanted a small family wedding.  They invited their children and grandchildren to be part their wedding at The Gasparilla Inn on Boca Grande.  It was a perfect fall morning as the family gathered early at the resort to get dressed.  By 10:25 Sharon was ready to have her son walk her down the aisle.  

Don waited anxiously as the family sat down and the music started playing.  Their granddaughter was the flower girl and their grandson was the ring bearer.  They said their vows and shared their joy with the entire family.

Soon it was time for family pictures on the front porch.  It was especially important to them to capture their ENTIRE family together.  Although this was the first time they had all been together, I know it won't be the last.  

We went out to the golf course for a little private time and they had their first dance as husband and wife.  He twirled her around the green as he quietly sang, just for her.

They celebrated with brunch in the Banyan room.  Champagne and toasts ended their morning at the Inn but the celebration lasted all day long.
