This wasn't just a small wedding, this was a secret small wedding.
Ed and Hannah (and their families) have known each other for a long time. They've been sharing their lives together for more than three years and this spring, Ed finally asked Hannah to marry him. Since he proposed on Manasota Key it seemed right that they get married there.
They flew in from Minnesota to spend a week with friends at the Tamarind Condos on the Key. These two friends were the only ones who knew and bore witness to the celebration.
Without telling their family or friends back home, they had a simple sunset ceremony. This was their dream. They have each other and they knew that was the most important thing.
Although it was small, it was their wedding and important for them to capture this day. We took pictures through sunset as they smiled and laughed. They enjoyed the remainder of their trip to Englewood before going home to tell the family.
It's times like these that I'm glad, through photographs, they can share this day with the ones they love.
