Jane's birthday was fast approaching and what she really wanted was a family photo session.  Although this sounds like a simple request, it meant that they had to fly the children into Florida on a weekend that would work for everyone.

David reached out to me and we found a weekend that would work.  It had been more than ten years since they'd had professional photos taken together and the children were no longer young kids.  

We met at Manasota Beach on a holiday weekend.  The beach was crowded but we found our small slice of sand to use to make it appear like we were the only people there.  The wind blew and kids splashed in the water but we had a great night.

Even with this small family, two hours went fast.  We created a lot of different looks and shot every family combination we could think of.  

Now they have their favorite photos proudly displayed in their house.
