Jenny and Daniel got engaged over a year ago and were in the middle of planning their large wedding last summer when COVID shut everything down. It took months of looking to find the perfect outdoor venue for their smaller, family oriented wedding. They finally found Maxine Barritt Park, by Sharky's On The Pier. The gazebo was plenty big to allow for social distancing and was a great outdoor location.
The family spent the day stringing lights, wrapping the pillars and decorating the picnic tables. Jenny's love of sunflowers became the underlying theme for the wedding.
They planned for a 4 p.m. ceremony and everyone was on hand a half hour before. Daniel's mom worked hard preparing the food, laying the rose petals down and making sure everything was perfect. Finally it was time to put on the boutonnieres and get in place.
Jenny was walked down the aisle by her father who proudly gave her away.
After they exchanged their own written vows and put the rings on each other's fingers, they were pronounced husband and wife.
This fun couple wanted some wedding pictures on the swing before we moved to the beach for more family and group photos.
The cold front that had come in made for a chilly bride, but she smiled like a champion and we got some beautiful, natural pictures.
Then it was back to the pavilion for dinner, toasts, dancing and cake cutting. We ended the night with a couple of night photos and they were off to Sarasota for a weekend honeymoon.
