Englewood Beach Wedding with Andy and Beth

Andy and Beth met thirteen years ago while Beth was on a date with Andy's friend.  It didn't take long for sparks to fly between these two and they've been together ever since.  It took more than 10 years for Andy to propose, but he nailed a surprise engagement by popping the question on his own birthday.

There was no doubt she'd say yes and from Michigan, they started planning their Florida wedding.  Beth has been coming to Englewood for years since her grandparents live in town and they decided Manasota Key would be the perfect beach destination wedding. About 40 family and friends made the trip to Florida to celebrate with them during the first part of December.

Beth and her sisters got ready at a condo on the beach and Ashley from Give Me Glam did the makeup for the day.

Beth and Andy decided a few weeks before the wedding that they wanted to do a "First Look" so that they could have some time alone before the ceremony.  We decided that Blind Pass Beach provided a beautiful backdrop for their time together and gave us an opportunity to capture some different looks for their wedding day photography.

Then it was time to go back to Englewood Beach and officially get married.  The group was seated and listening to beautiful music by Matt Dendy at SRQ Violinist.  Ann's Flowers provided the bouquets and arrangements for the ceremony and reception.

Beth was walked down the aisle by her father. Grace Felice with A Wedding With Grace officiated the ceremony.  Through laughter and a few tears, they exchanged rings and said "I Do".

After the family pictures, we had plenty of time capture intimate photos of just them.  Sunset pictures were important to Beth and Englewood Beach didn't disappoint.

When the last of the color was gone, we walked across the street to The Waverly and the party was just getting started.  All Event Entertainment provided the music for the evening and kept the dance floor rocking.

Then it was time to cut the cake and enjoy the rest of the night.  Although Beth told me several times that the day was flying by, I know that they'll never forget this wonderful day.

Take a minute to check out their Wedding Album Slideshow to see more great pictures from their day.

I love meeting and photographing families and each person has a story to tell.  Unfortunately there's never enough time or space to share everything but here's a little story and a few pictures of the amazing people I get to work with.
