Cassie called me because her son Jake and his wife Molly were coming to visit and hoped to get maternity pictures taken while they were here.  The family is from Michigan but with strict COVID restrictions in place in Michigan, they were unable to find a photographer.  Molly and Jake drove down and took a few days to relax and enjoy the warmer weather before our session.  At seven months pregnant, Molly still felt great and had a beautiful pregnancy glow.

I was happy to be able to meet with them the day before our shoot.  We were able to discuss what they really wanted to get out of the session.  Although they wanted photos on the beach, it was also important to take some photos with trees because they wanted their artwork to fit into their northern home.  

Although the family has been coming to Englewood for years, they had never stopped at Blind Pass Beach and didn't know about the boardwalk that is by the parking lot.  After our initial meeting, they went to the beach for sunset and we all agreed that it was a great spot. 

The next evening we met a couple of hours before sunset.  We spent about an hour in the trees getting a variety of photos with that woodsy feel.  We then moved onto the beach itself and spent another hour walking, posing and having a great time.

Even better, Cassie brought her two other daughters and we were able to get some photos of the sisters together and the family together.  I love being able to include as many family members as possible and we took every possible combination of people we could.

We ended the evening with a beautiful sunset and some great silhouette pictures.

Back home they picked out their favorite photos and we decided that canvases for their walls and a family album would be perfect.  I had it all designed and delivered in just a couple of weeks, in time to show off at her baby shower.

***Baby Girl Emma Jane was welcomed into the world on April 17th, 2021.  Molly and Emma are both healthy and well and are excited to be home!
