I first met Tim, Kilee and the girls in January of 2020.  Although they live in Indiana, Kilee grew up coming to Florida to visit her grandparents.  Boca Grande is a full of special memories for her and they got married on Banyan Street seven years ago.

Last year we had a blast with the girls despite the cool and windy weather.  It was short notice when Tim called me this time because they were only in town for a couple of days and there was a storm front passing over the state.  They realized how fast the girls were growing up and wanted to have new pictures of the family so we looked at the weather and knew we had one day to get it done.  Speaking with Kilee, we talked about whether we wanted to photograph in the same spots as before or explore new places.  We decided that we'd start at the chapel (which we hadn't photographed at before), then move onto Banyan Street and the beach.  I suggested that if we were going to use the same locations, let's actually try to take similar pictures so that they could see how much the girls changed in 16 months.  She loved the idea and the plan was set.

Although the sun was still a bit high while at the chapel, we captured some great images of the family.  I LOVED the girls hot pink dresses and how it popped against the white church.

Then we moved onto Banyan Street where we took some similar poses to last year.  I thought it would be fun to show how the family has changed.

Then we moved down to the beach.  Although we had a breeze this year, it was nicer and definitely warmer than last year.  Last year the girls hit their limit about 20 minutes before sunset because they had gotten wet while playing in the water.  This year, they didn't want the shoot to end so we started using our light to keep it going!

It is a special feeling to have a family love their photos so much that they chose me to do it again.  We've already talked about continuing to do a session every year as the girls grow up so that we can capture their growth and personalities as they change.  

Thank you Tim and Kilee.  I love your family and I'll someday be able to say that I was to first to capture model Adlee before she was famous!
