Kristi called me in the spring to arrange an anniversary photoshoot with her husband.  They have been married for 40 years and haven't had professional pictures taken since their wedding.  

Kristi had a specific request for silhouette images.  She had seen some silhouette pictures on my website and envisioned something like that for her own home.  I told her I would happily take a variety of those types of images but that I also wanted to get some photos where she could see their faces.  She thought that was a good idea and we set up our day and time. 

We met at Blind Pass Beach about 75 minutes before sunset.  We started with some pictures in the mangroves and on the boardwalk and they started getting comfortable in front of the camera.  I took a variety of natural and posed pictures as they relaxed and started having fun.

As the sun got lower in the sky we were able to move onto the beach.  We started with some walking photos and their niece joined them for a few pictures. 

I then had them relax on the beach together and continued to take pictures through sunset.

A week later they were back home in Montana and LOVED the images I captured.  To Kristi's surprise, her FAVORITE  photo was them relaxing on the beach.  Granted her second favorite is the sunset silhouette above but I knew that would happen.  We worked together to design the layout of the metal art I created for her home and she happily sent me these pictures a few days later after it arrived and they hung it in their home.  

There's nothing better than decorating your home with personalized images you love and will have forever.
