It's not easy planning a wedding when you live 1300 miles away but they did it!
Jennifer and Brian are from Massachusetts but wanted to get married on Lido Key, Florida. Brian's family has a condo on the beach and it was the perfect place for their small wedding. They started planning almost a year ago but it took several trips to Florida and a few revisions to their original idea to make their wedding dreams come true.
They decided to get married at Lido Beach Resort and have their reception in the Royal Palm Ballroom. Swanky Soiree provided Day Of Coordination and made sure that everything ran perfectly and on schedule.
Jennifer and her bridesmaids got ready in the Mangrove Room while Brian and his groomsmen got ready at his condo next door. Jennifer chose her gown from her local bridal store, Chantilly Place Bridal Boutique in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Her hair and makeup was done by Beauty by Krista. She was able to enjoy getting ready with her bridesmaids, mother in law and daughter in their private suite.
They knew from the beginning that they wanted to do a First Look. They wanted time to be together and really connect, before they said their vows. Brian came over to the hotel and went down to the beach to wait for Jennifer. Their wedding party watched from the balcony as Brian and Jennifer saw each other for the first time and shared special moments and time together.
They took a few minutes to cool off inside the hotel before getting into position for the wedding. Family and friends enjoyed the beach on this sunny June afternoon. Oneco Florist provided the beautiful flowers for the day.
Now it was time for family photos and some fun with the bridal party! The ladies couldn't resist cooling off a little in the Gulf.
Since the sun wasn't going to set for another couple of hours it was time to head inside for cocktail hour, their grand entrance, and dinner. DJ Alex with Complete Weddings and Events provided the music for the night. Their three layer beach themed cake was created by Cakes by Ron in Sarasota.
Brian and Jennifer snuck back down to the beach for sunset and a few more pictures alone. The cloudy skies prevented a colorful sunset but they still enjoyed the time together and had their first dance as husband and wife on the beach!
Then it was back inside for dinner, dancing and cutting their cake. The DJ kept the party and dancing going late into the evening.
The best part about a destination wedding is being able to enjoy the honeymoon right away. So after a few more days relaxing at the beach and spending time with family, it was time to head home and settle into their new lives together. Congratulations Jennifer and Brian on your special day.
