Kim lived in Naples and Brian lived in Tampa, so when they decided to get married, Venice was the perfect place to meet in the middle. Not only were they planning a wedding in less than a month but they were still settling into their new home when I first met them.
This was a second marriage and second chance for love for them.
It was important to Brian to be married at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice and they had a beautiful church ceremony. Reverend Jayabalan Raju performed the ceremony and mass. Kim's sons walked her down the island and their children read passages from the Bible.
Despite the heat, we went over to the Venice Jetty for family pictures. The rocks and water are the perfect backdrop for this couple who loves to spend time on the water.
Then it was time for the reception at the Venice Yacht Club. The beautiful flowers arrangements were created by Floral By Fudgie.
They had cocktail hour in Pearson's Cove Lounge before moving to the Bayside Dining room for dinner and music by the Soul Sensations.
Although the night must come to an end, the joy and love that Kim and Brian share will last a lifetime.
