When Sam and Abbie started planning their wedding, they knew they wanted it at the Venice Yacht Club.  Abbie's parents are members, and everyone loves spending time there gathering with friends, eating great food and enjoying their boat.

It was a pleasant Sunday morning when I met Abbie at her parents' house on Venice Island to photograph her getting ready.  They couldn't wait to show off their cute robes and fun socks!

Venice Yacht Club Wedding bridal party Abbie got dressed at the Yacht Club so that she wouldn't have to travel with her dress on.  It was a special moment as her mom and bridesmaids helped her into her gown. Abbie's bouquet and boutonnieres were from Venetian Flowers on Tamiami and she made sure everything was in place before she walked down the aisle.

The cloudy sky kept the day from being too warm as the guests gathered around the flagpole.  Sam entered from the tiki bar area and Abbie's father walked her down the aisle.

Venice Yacht Club Wedding-12 Abbie's brother officiated the wedding and they wrote their own vows.  After the ring exchange and kiss, they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Davis!

We took the family portraits by the flagpole, then went down to the dock and over to the Venice jetty for their couple's photos.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the Sunset Room and Bar.  After the Grand Entrance they enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife before dinner was served.  DJ Steve Ash from To Honor You Weddings and Special Events provided the music for the entire night.

Cakes By Ron provided both their wedding cake and six different flavors of cupcakes for everyone to enjoy.  The night wouldn't have been complete without the bouquet toss and garter throw.

It was the perfect day for Sam and Abbie and they are looking forward to starting their family very soon!
