Shannon reached out to me because she was planning a 40th anniversary celebration for her parents Rick and Kathy on Palm Island.  The whole family was spending a week at the Palm Island Resort and she knew this was the perfect opportunity to have family photos taken.

After they had a chance to settle in and relax on the island for a couple of days, we took the ferry across the channel and met them at their condo.  They were open to photos anywhere and everywhere on the island so we took some group and couple's photos in front of some of the beautiful plants and the pond by their condo.

Then we jumped in the golf carts and headed to one of my favorite boardwalks.  It isn't wide enough to fit the whole family so we did some fun couples and individual photos.

Then it was time to head towards the beach, stopping to take photos on the bridge.

After the session we worked together to put all of Kathy's favorite photos in a Family photo album and she got several metal art pictures to decorate her home.  Rick and Kathy have gone through alot in their 40 years together but keep smiling, laughing and loving each other.
